Services

Food

Beverages and dry food will be sold at the Quebec Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada tent next to the terrasse (all proceeds will go to the Division). A supper meal will also be offered from 5 to 7 pm by the Division. Tickets will be sold at the Division booth. A BBQ will also be made available to the 24h participants. Please refrain from bringing glass bottles to the site. Smoking and alcool drinking is prohibited during the event.

At the information booth (near paddock 14), the participants will have free round-the-clock access to a microwave oven for heating their own food. A breakfast will be served by the Division on Sunday morning between 7 and 10 am. You need to reserve your breakfast tickets at 5 CA$ each, on site, Saturday (limited number).

There are several food concessions available in Jean-Drapeau Park: the restaurant at the beach (10 am to 5 pm), healthy food at Espace Bouffe (11 am to 8 pm), a snack bar (near the Casino bridge from 8 am to 8 pm) as well as all the restaurants in the Montreal Casino (open all night).

Hygiene

Participants wearing their bracelet will have free round-the-clock access to showers at the Jean-Drapeau Beach, a short walk away from the start line. Water taps will also be available behind the paddocks. Toilets are located at the back between paddocks 14 and 15 at the ground level and also on the roof (staircase in the back). Other toilets are located on the roof near paddock 29 and at the beach and around the track. Check out the 24hrs site map (PDF) for more information.

Massages

As you skate, Hugues Poitras massotherapist and his team will also relay for 24hrs to keep you tuned ! The massages provided will help you better prepare for your relays, remove tensions and accumulated toxins or simply help you relax and rest.

With these table massages, you will recover faster from your 24hrs challenge. The massages will be offered at 1 CA$ a minute, with receipts available for your insurance if needed. Hugues Poitras and his team will also contribute to the Quebec Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada by donating 15% of the proceeds of your massages. So treat your body well with massages during the race and help the Division in the process!
